Three month Summer Program/Spanish Immersion in Costa Rica

**Three-Month Summer Program** is tailored for students seeking not just language skills, but also personal growth, meaningful memories, and transformational success habits such as; learning how to consistently tell the truth and set limits and boundaries, develop an incredible work ethic, and how to serve other people and create in their life a sense of gratitude, respect, and reverence. This program focuses on teaching the habits of discipline and self-esteem through our over 35-year-in-operation boot camp/private schooling process that has a proven 90% non-relapse success rate.*  

Additionally, your student will receive a full Spanish language immersion, where they become conversational Spanish in just three months. 

(The 3 month option discussed here can also be used year round, not just as a summer program meaning it can be used as an effective wake up call or a tryout for our full one year program.)

Costa Rica is alway been sort of the little brother in Central America to the United States, who has been a protectant to Costa Rica, since the end of World War II. Costa Rica is the little Switzerland of Central and South America, and have no army and are very Americanized; you can even drink the water there in our personal 20 years of experience.

Our dedicated and experienced staff are passionate about education and committed to helping students reach their full potential. Our individualized curriculum, coupled with our comprehensive Spanish immersion program, sets us apart. Our staff is entirely bilingual, with many having personally attended our long-term private school, graduated, pursued college, and then returned to work for us—some for over 20 years. They are no longer just employees; they are our friends and family.

 We only take a total of about 25 students per year, so the students stay in the actual homes with the families of our long-term staff, in their own rooms. This setup creates a friendly study abroad or foreign exchange student-style environment, providing students with a family-like atmosphere rather than the institutional setting of the past. This setup is ideal for our individualized Spanish immersion process, as the bilingual staff ensures that students speak and use Spanish every waking hour of the day. The efficiency of this approach lies in the fact that the staff lives in these actual homes, surrounded by Spanish, and the staff homes are typically “Tico,” meaning humble yet comfortable and kept very clean. Usually, we have no more than two students per home, sometimes up to four, but typically, it’s about two students per home.

- **Cultural Exposure**: Immerse your student in local traditions such as the many Topes or amazing horse fairs and parades our students get to attend in Costa Rica’s proud equestrian society, taste authentic cuisine, and connect with friendly locals who will enrich your experience. Our students are housed in a typical Costa Rican home with staff that we have had for over 20 years. It’s sort of like a foreign exchange student program along with a study abroad experience, and our students just blossom as they get away from a lot of the issues that are going on at home or among inappropriate peers and allow them to change their perspective and make changes that will help them the rest of their lives.

Additionally, if they excel, they can participate in our Smart Horizons program, which culminates in a nationally accredited high school diploma in the USA. This diploma is typically completed within six to nine months, equipping your student with a fully accredited credential, surpassing the limitations of a GED.

Wake-Up Call/Summer Teen Program – Tuition & Fees Overview

We offer a highly structured and supportive three-month Summer program designed to serve as a transformative “wake-up call” for teens. Please note The program can be attended during the summer or at any time throughout the year, which gives the sponsor or parent a chance to try out our school before committing to a one full year, which is our regular length of the program that has the 90% non-relapse, success rate. Again, this gives you a chance to do a wake up call for your teen, while checking us out and making sure that it’s the program you want them to be in long-term.

After the Wake-Up Call: Extended Enrollment Option

Should the sponsoring family choose to extend the teen’s enrollment to the recommended one-year program, the full three-month tuition already paid will be applied toward the annual cost.

Standard One-Year Tuition:

• $53,995 + transportation/escort fees

(Scholarships may apply based on family income.)

For families with income above $120,000:

• Tuition may increase to ~$80,000/year

(However, mid-range scholarship options may lower the cost to ~$69,000/year, plus transport fees.)
